Costumes for PROSPECT
In PROSPECT, nothing is new, pristine, or state-of-the-art. The frontier is full of economic desperation and people struggling with whatever gear they can get their hands on.
Each design was a chance to say something about the character - their cultural origins, their professional history, their economic standing. Even though the majority of the film takes place in the forests of a single planet, we wanted to create the sense that this universe is much bigger.
